OakStar Bank, N.A. was formed by thirty-eight local Southwest Missouri investors in 2005. The focus of this group was to create a unique banking experience. To carry out this focus, the original investor group recruited a traditional banker with a non-traditional view of service delivery. Jim Bracht partnered with the founding board of directors to design the most unique bank building and service experience around. When you enter our 30,000 square foot, state of the art facility, you will not walk directly into a traditional teller line. Rather, you will be personally greeted by two of our banking concierges who will assist you in carrying out your goal for the day. Deposit or withdrawal activities will take place side by side at one of our four concierge towers. Should you financial goals also include opening an additional account, applying for a home, auto, or commercial loan, you will be escorted to the appropriate bank officer for immediate and friendly service. Before, during, or after your banking experience, please feel free to relax in our internet cafe. You can check your email and stock prices while enjoying a freshly baked cookie with a cup of coffee or a soda while watching the latest news on our big screen television next to a roaring fire. The OakStar experience is unique, much like our name. The combination of the oak leaf which symbolizes strength, beauty, protection, and longevity with the star symbolizing vision, brightness, and the view of the big picture accurately reflects our mission of service to you.
