One of the first levels of achieving confidence in the individuals that support you in the management of your financial affairs is knowing their background and qualifications. Following is a brief paragraph on the experience and education of each one of OakStar's Senior Management Team:

James R. BrachtJames R. Bracht is the bank's Chief Executive Officer. As a native of the Southwest Missouri market, he knows and understands the financial environment in this market based upon experience. In addition, the majority of his 29 years of banking and financial services industry experience has been obtained in this market.

Jim brings to OakStar Bank a well balanced career that spans both commercial and agricultural lending. He has served in senior management positions in both highly successful community oriented banking institutions and well respected regional and national banks/financial services companies. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri College of Agriculture with both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Agriculture Economics. He also has the experience of many financial industry oriented courses and seminars including a Graduate Degree in Banking from Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.


Mark McFatridgeMark McFatridge joined OakStar Bank in July of 2008 as the company's President and Chief Operating Officer. Mark's experience in leading the community banking efforts of a large regional bank have afforded him a "best of both worlds" experience. He knows the value of providing the best, most advanced products and services to our clients with the local decision making and personal customer service expected in a community market like Southwest Missouri.

Mark's banking background has taken him from the teller line, to the commercial lending arena, to assisting in the completion of a $100 billion merger of equals to leading a banking group with approximately 50 branches and $1.5 billion in deposits. Throughout his banking carrer, Mark has realized that customer service and community involvement lead to the success of community focused financial services firms. To that end, Mark is highly involved in the Southwest Missouri community including board seats on the Dickerson Park Zoo's Friends fo the Zoo, The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, Ozark's Regional Economic Partnership, and Isabel's House. Additionally, Mark serves on a United Way of the Ozarks Allocations Committee and is a member of the Ozarks Technical Community College Community Advisory Council. Mark is a two time graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana with a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance.


Jacqueline M. WillsJacqueline M. Wills is the bank's Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. In this position, she is responsible for the development of and delivery to the bank's clients of all deposit, investment, savings, and cash management products. She is also responsible for the internal accounting and data processing functions. She has over 25 years of banking experience coupled with five years of senior business management experience, all obtained in the Springfield and Southwest Missouri market.

Jacque is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University in Springfield with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. She is also a graduate of the Bank Administration Institute (BAI) Operations Management School awarded "with honors". In addition, she is a graduate of the ABA Commercial Lending School .


Julie BarkerJulie Barker, Executive Vice President - Home Lending Team, OakStar Bank

Julie Barker earned her undergraduate business degree from Drury University in 1982 and then came back to Drury and earned her MBA degree in 1990. While at Drury she served as Class President, President of her sorority and was active in Student Union and Ambassadors. Julie has been in banking and/or mortgage banking her entire career. Her 25 years of experience in the financial industry has all been served from the Springfield market. She is presently the manager of the Home Lending Team of OakStar Bank. Prior to joining OakStar in December of 2005 she helped manage and develop the mortgage lending divisions of Signature Bank and Mid-Missouri Mortgage. Julie serves on the leadership boards of Springfield's Best, Campbell Methodist Church and Pershing Middle School. She also is an active participant in National Association of Professional Mortgage Women and has served and worked for a variety of civic and charitable organizations.


Mark Bybee Mark Bybee is Chief Lending Officer and Senior Vice President of OakStar Bank. Mark is a Springfield native and has spent his entire career in the Commercial Lending arena within Springfield, Missouri.

Mark started his banking career at Mercantile Bank after completing his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. He completed his Masters in Business Administration along with serving 5 years at Mercantile Bank and its predecessors, before accepting a new position at Commerce Bank in Commercial Lending. Within two years on the job, Mark was promoted to Senior Vice President and managed the Commercial and Industrial Lending Department within the bank.

Mark was twice awarded the Pinnacle Award to recognize his excellent performance within the commercial bank at US Bank. He was also a recipient of “40 under 40” by the Springfield Business Journal, “Leadership Springfield” by the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and was recognized internally by Commerce Bank with placement within the Leadership Development Program.

With more than 11 years experience, Mark accepted the Chief Lending Officer position at Oakstar Bank. He brings his management abilities and intimate understanding of the local market to Oakstar and will help to continue to move the bank forward in the community as a leader in the local banking industry.


Andrea McKinney Andrea McKinneyis the Senior Vice President and Director of Client Services for OakStar Bank. The Springfield native has spent the majority of her financial services career in Private Banking and Wealth Management.

After completing her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS; Andrea began a career with PaineWebber in investment banking in Washington, D.C. and New York, NY. After several years of living on the East Coast, she returned to the Ozarks to be near family and complete her MBA degree at Missouri State University. In 2000, she joined the team at U.S. Bank Private Client Group serving in the role of Private Banker. During her first year, Andrea was ranked #1 in the Gateway region and #4 among all company employees for referrals to trust. In 2002, she became the manager of the Private Bank for Commerce Bank in Springfield, Missouri.

Andrea values leadership development and community involvement. She currently serves as the President-Elect of the Junior League of Springfield. She is also a board member of the Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks, the Springfield/Greene County Park Board, and the Mayor’s Commission for Children. Her past honors include: 2007 Outstanding Young Alumni of Greenwood School, “Most Influential Woman” 2005, “40 under 40” 2003, and graduate of Leadership Springfield in 2003.
